About Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle KStJ DL was a British writer, who created the character, Sherlock Holmes. Originally a physician, in 1887 he published A Study in Scarlet, the first of four novels and more than fifty short stories about Holmes and Dr Watson. The books were an overnight success and were later adapted into a series of shows and movies.
About The Study Of Scarlet
The story is about a young man who spends all his life tracking down the killers of the girl he loved. The book is divided into two parts the first one where the author tells you about the events in the present and how the investigation goes. The author also gives a brief account of Mr Sherlock Holmes which is the main protagonist of the book and how he met his colleague Dr John Watson. The later part of the book tells you the back story of the killer and the reason for his crime.
Life After Reading The Study Of Scarlet
I have watched the movie and the tv show but to experience the things how they were written originally in the book was a different experience altogether. Sir Arthur Conon Doyle did a very good job of keeping the reader on the edge until the end of the book. The literature I would say is somewhat difficult for an average reader as it was written in the 18th century — but you get used to in eventually. Overall a good detective crime thriller with some goofy humour.
